The OCOH Treatment Center was opened in July 2002. It is a state-of-the-art treatment facility, unlike any other operated by a private practice in Orange County.
It is conveniently located near Hoag Hospital and the Hoag Cancer Institute and our medical offices. The purpose of opening the OCOH Treatment Center was to provide a quiet and restful environment dedicated to the comfort and specialized needs of patients and their families during chemotherapy treatment cycles.
The treatment area is spacious and offers a restful view of the ocean. The individual treatment stations consist of oversized recliners for your comfort during your chemotherapy administration. The proximity of the Nurses Station within the treatment area allows close, continuous contact and observation of our patients during the administration of chemotherapy. The chemotherapy drug mixing room and lab include the latest technology for the preparation of chemotherapy agents.
One of our four physicians is on-site, supervising treatment care, and is available to discuss treatment matters with patients. The reception room is spacious and comfortable, allowing family and friends of patients receiving treatment to relax while they await completion of treatment.
